Speaking through a live address, Dr Aatha said the demonstration was organised to express solidarity with Wangchuk’s campaign for a stronger and more transparent education system.
Supports Sonam Wangchuk’s Education Campaign
Dr Kainat Ansari Aatha praised Sonam Wangchuk’s efforts, saying he has been raising concerns about the future of students and the need for reforms in the education system. She stated that despite having no personal stake in competitive examinations, Wangchuk has continued to campaign for students’ rights and educational improvements.
According to her, his movement highlights the importance of protecting the interests of young aspirants across the country.

She also stressed the need for accountability and called for immediate action to strengthen transparency and fairness in the examination process.
Appeals for Focus on Education and Healthcare
The AAP leader said national discussions should focus on key issues such as education, healthcare and governance instead of divisions based on religion or caste.
She urged policymakers to prioritise reforms that directly impact students and the future of the country’s youth, adding that improving the education system is essential for long-term national development.
Criticises Government’s Response to Protests
Dr Kainat Ansari Aatha questioned the government’s response to public movements and said democratic societies should encourage dialogue with citizens raising genuine concerns.
She also referred to previous public movements in India, stating that governments should remain responsive to people’s voices regardless of political circumstances.
