NDA Parliamentary Party will hold its weekly Mangal Milan meeting on August 4 in Parliament to discuss key legislative and government priorities.
The National Democratic Alliance Parliamentary Party will hold its weekly ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting on Tuesday, August 4, in New Delhi, bringing together MPs from the ruling alliance for discussions on parliamentary affairs and key government initiatives.
According to sources, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, located inside the Parliament Library Building.
Senior NDA Leaders Expected to Attend
The weekly gathering is expected to witness the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with senior ministers and MPs from the NDA. The meeting serves as a platform to coordinate legislative strategy, review parliamentary business, and discuss important policy matters.
At the previous ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting held on July 28, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju addressed alliance lawmakers in the presence of the Prime Minister.
Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal spoke about the economic significance of India’s recent Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), while Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh highlighted government initiatives and future plans for strengthening India’s fisheries sector.
Senior leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, also attended the earlier meeting.
Opposition Raises Fresh Issues in Parliament
Ahead of the NDA meeting, the opposition intensified its attack on the Centre. Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge demanded discussions in Parliament on the police action against protesters during the July 20 demonstrations and allegations related to donations made to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
The INDIA bloc also staged a protest within the Parliament complex, seeking responses from the government and demanding accountability over the issues raised.
The upcoming NDA Parliamentary Party meeting is expected to focus on parliamentary coordination and legislative priorities as both the government and the opposition prepare for another day of debate in Parliament.
