Dausa ranks third in Rajasthan after Jaipur and Sikar with 2,405 government job appointments, reflecting the growing interest in competitive exams.
The growing interest among young people in preparing for government recruitment exams is increasingly visible in Rajasthan’s appointment figures. Recently, 53,977 candidates across Rajasthan received government job appointment letters, including 2,405 youths from Dausa district.
With this figure, Dausa Government Jobs has emerged as a notable success story, with the district ranking third in the state after Jaipur and Sikar in terms of the number of appointments.
Jaipur leads the appointment chart
According to the available figures, Jaipur recorded the highest number of government job appointments, with 5,852 candidates receiving appointment letters. Sikar followed with 2,505 appointments, while Dausa stood third with 2,405 appointments.
Dausa has surpassed several larger districts, highlighting the increasing participation of its youth in competitive examinations and government recruitment processes.
After Dausa, Nagaur recorded 2,051 appointments, followed by Alwar with 2,037 and Jodhpur with 1,971. Jhunjhunu recorded 1,695 appointments, while Bikaner had 1,728 and Bharatpur 1,730. Udaipur recorded 1,679 appointments and Tonk reported 1,661.
Rural youth increasingly preparing for government jobs
Career counsellor Ashok Kumar said preparation for Dausa Government Jobs is no longer limited to students living in urban areas. Young people from villages are also increasingly targeting competitive examinations and following regular study schedules.
He said candidates are becoming more focused on their preparation and career goals instead of simply participating in competitive examinations without a clear strategy.
The trend suggests that government recruitment has become an important career option for young people across different parts of the district.
Online education makes exam preparation easier
Several factors are contributing to the growing preparation ecosystem in Dausa. Online courses, recorded lectures and digital study material have made it easier for students to prepare for competitive examinations from their homes.
The expansion of libraries and local coaching centres has also provided students with dedicated spaces for study. These facilities are helping candidates access learning resources without having to move permanently to larger cities.

Jaipur connectivity gives students another advantage
District Employment Officer Shyam Lal Sharma said Dausa’s proximity to Jaipur is another advantage for aspiring candidates. Better rail connectivity between Dausa and Jaipur has enabled many students to travel to the state capital for coaching and other educational resources.
According to Sharma, around 2,405 appointment letters were issued to candidates from Dausa last month, and the recruitment process is continuing.
He also noted that young people in the district appear to be taking competitive examinations more seriously than before.
Dausa moves ahead of several larger districts
The performance of Dausa Government Jobs is particularly significant because the district has recorded more appointments than several districts that are larger in terms of population or geographical area.
The figures indicate that students from Dausa are increasingly competing successfully in government recruitment examinations despite having comparatively fewer local resources than major educational centres.
Local preparation ecosystem continues to grow
The combination of libraries, coaching institutes, digital education and access to Jaipur has created a stronger environment for government job aspirants in Dausa.
The rise in Dausa Government Jobs appointments reflects the growing determination among young people to pursue stable careers through competitive examinations. If the current preparation ecosystem continues to expand, the district could see further growth in participation and success in upcoming government recruitment drives.
For many students, the latest appointment figures have also provided encouragement to continue their preparation and pursue government employment as a long-term career goal.
