Scheme Aims to Resolve Long-Pending Property Issues
The Punjab government expects the initiative to provide relief to thousands of families by giving them official documentation for their residential properties. With legal ownership records in place, beneficiaries will have stronger proof of their rights over their homes.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said the scheme is focused on resolving issues that families have faced for years and ensuring that eligible residents receive recognition of their property rights.
The four-phase implementation is expected to extend the benefits to more eligible families across Punjab, helping them secure formal ownership documentation for their houses.
Beneficiaries Thank Punjab Government
During the Dhuri programme, beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Punjab government for launching the initiative. For many families, receiving official ownership documents is expected to provide greater security and clarity regarding their residential properties.
Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted the importance of providing people with legal recognition of their homes and addressing problems related to ownership documentation.
Focus on Strengthening Housing Rights
The โMera Ghar Mere Naamโ scheme represents an effort to strengthen residential property rights for people living within the Lal Lakir. By issuing legal ownership documents, the government aims to make property records more secure and accessible for eligible families.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said the government remains committed to resolving long-standing public issues and ensuring that people receive the rights associated with their homes.
With the first phase beginning in Dhuri and 2,295 house owners receiving documents, the scheme is set to move forward through its remaining phases to benefit more families across Punjab.
