According to Bhupender Yadav, the nature of politics has changed, with a focus on governance now.
Bhupender Yadav
54-year-old Bhupender Yadav is running in his first election from the Alwar Lok Sabha seat in Rajasthan and describes the experience as “empowering.”
He was and still is a highly renowned backroom tactician. He has served in the Rajya Sabha for twelve years. He ministers for the Union. Currently, 54-year-old Bhupender Yadav is running for office for the first time from the Alwar Lok Sabha seat in Rajasthan, calling the experience “empowering.” Bhupender Yadav talked about his pledges to the Alwar community and the BJP’s development plan. Yadav anticipates the BJP to win back a sizable majority in power thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s performance and governance politics. trimmed passages.
That (strategic planning) involved organizational labor, while this (polling contests) entails reaching out to the public. You have to respond to individuals and concentrate on specific problems when you fight a poll, and I appreciate the leadership giving me this chance. For me, this election has been incredibly liberating. Indeed, this election has given me a great sense of empowerment. I have had a great deal of love, support, and encouragement from individuals in every community.

What are your priorities for the constituency?
I have traversed the nation as a member of the union government to implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development program. However, after visiting various villages, I reached the decision that, should I be given the opportunity to run for Lok Sabha, my first priority will be to carry out Modi Ji’s pledge, which is to provide water through the Jal Jeevan Mission, as stated in our party’s sankalp patra (manifesto). It will be difficult to keep this pledge, but I have decided that there would be no distinction in the provision of facilities to individuals, having seen firsthand the rampant corruption that characterized the Congress rule and the difficulties women experienced in obtaining water. The area’s declining water table is the second problem that needs to be resolved. We have the tiger reserve in Sariska, industry in Neemrana and Bhiwadi, and things will only get worse if we don’t act now.I inquired why there are no residents in the numerous abandoned villages and ancient havelis, and I was informed it’s due of the saline water. We’ll see to it that the water sharing deal between Rajasthan and Haryana is carried out and that there is access to drinkable water.
Youth will be another area of focus. We witnessed corruption and paper leaks under the Congress reign in the state; the educated youth suffered when there was a paper leak every other month (pertaining to an exam for a government job). This is something we also pledged to include in our manifesto: a legislation prohibiting paper leaks and complete transparency in the examination process in Rajasthan and across the nation.
At the Center, the party has ruled for the past ten years. How do you know for sure that there won’t be any opposition to the incumbent?
You can notice that people are in favor of Modi ji’s style of governing if you go meet them. People used to argue over who would win and who would lose in elections, but it is now obvious that Modi’s government will return. Politics is today a politics of performance and governance, which has altered its essence. Apna aur paraya, or “us and them,” is central to congressional politics, which are solely focused on winning votes. The party awarded their own family members the Bharat Ratna. Congress was not in power when Baba Saheb (BR Ambedkar) received the Bharat Ratna.
The opposition parties have criticised the BJP’s manifesto. They say there is nothing new or substantial being offered.
The goal of this manifesto is to broaden the scope of the goals we have already accomplished. Consider the Jal Jeevan Mission: while we have achieved some of our goals, we still have more to accomplish. Similar to how we achieved the goal of building homes under the PM Awas Yojna and producing a specific number of Lakhpati Didis (millionaire sisters; a loan scheme designed to encourage business among women in rural India), we now plan to raise that number and expand the schemes. It is incorrect to claim that our manifesto contains no fresh ideas. The manifesto lays out a clear plan for our progress toward a developed India by 2047, with consistency and continuity.
How do you see the BJP countering issues such as caste census being raised by the opposition parties that have come together as the INDIA bloc?
The Communist Party is at odds with the Congress in Wayanad, Kerala; in Bihar, however, they are working together. Who is supporting whom and who is opposing whom is unclear, so how will these parties know what their goals are in such a situation? Caste politics involves more than just tally of castes. The Congress has never been a social justice party; in Parliament, they voted against the Mandal Commission. People are aware that anything the Congress says is merely rhetoric.
