Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism, (April 10).
Shri Sharma said that Bhagwan Mahavir taught us the lessons of truth, non-violence, aparigraha, mercy and sacrifice. The ascetic life of Lord Mahavira and his teachings inspire us to serve humanity by following the path of dharma.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to imbibe the teachings of Mahavir Swami and play their active role in establishing social harmony so that the country and the state could touch new dimensions of development.
