During the India vs South Africa clash at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium on December 9, 2025, Bumrah not only crossed 100 wickets in international T20s, but also became the first Indian cricketer ever to achieve a remarkable all-format milestone.

With his latest performance against South Africa, Jasprit Bumrah has etched his name in Indian cricket history by becoming the first Indian bowler to take 100+ wickets in all three formats — Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.

Here’s Bumrah’s all-format wicket tally as of now:

• Tests: 234 wickets in 99 innings

• ODIs: 149 wickets in 88 innings

• T20Is: 101 wickets in 78 innings

He reached the T20I landmark in 78 innings, second-fastest among Indians after Arshdeep Singh. However, unlike Arshdeep, Bumrah has completed the incredible feat across all formats.

In addition, Bumrah has also surpassed 100 wickets in the IPL, with 183 wickets in 145 matches, all for the Mumbai Indians (MI) — further cementing his dominance across formats.

Bumrah is now the fifth cricketer globally to claim 100 or more wickets in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, joining an elite list of modern cricket legends:

With Bumrah, Shaheen Afridi, and Shakib Al Hasan all still active in international cricket, their numbers are expected to grow significantly.
