Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant chaired a review meeting on wednesday to assess the preparations for the first Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas, scheduled to take place on 10th December, at JECC, Jaipur.
Shri Sudhansh Pant directed the officials to steadily review the progress and address any pending issues in order to ensure smooth coordination of the event.
The Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas will also host the Pravasi Rajasthani Samman Awards to honour the Pravasi Rajasthanis who have excelled in social, economic, and industrial sectors.
Additionally, the day-long event will also feature sectoral sessions on various sectors like Education, Tourism, Industry, Health, and Water led by the distinguished experts and the diaspora members who have made notable contributions in their respective domains are also planned for the event.
Emphasizing on the need of close coordination and active outreach, Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant said that to ensure seamless execution and maximum participation of Pravasi Rajasthani’s, close coordination and effective planning by all departments is pivotal.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant also apprised the participants about the series of pre-event meets which are scheduled to take place in cities like Hyderabad, Surat and Kolkata. These Pravasi Meets are planned to encourage maximum participation from the diaspora and foster meaningful ties for the socio-economic development of the state.

Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary, Medical and Health, Dr. Joga Ram,Secretary, Industries, Dr. Manisha Arora, Commissioner, Rajasthan Foundation (RF) and other senior officials from Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) and Rajasthan Foundation (RF).
