Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today inaugurated a state-of-the-art Sub-Divisional Hospital and Mother-Child Hospital in Dhuri, Sangrur, built at a cost of ₹21.65 crore. This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services across Punjab.
The new hospital is equipped with 80 beds, 13 OPDs, an emergency block, and 7 operation theatres, along with modern laboratories and specialist doctors. This facility will now serve as the primary healthcare center for over 58,000 urban residents and 70 surrounding villages, ensuring easier access to essential medical services.
Speaking at the inauguration, CM Bhagwant Mann said, “The Sub-Divisional Hospital and Mother-Child Hospital in Dhuri will now become a central hub for healthcare in the region. Our government is committed to ensuring that no citizen is deprived of medical treatment. Maternal and child care, free tests, surgeries, and emergency services will now be available under one roof.”
