CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the State Government is working as per the roadmap to ensure all round development of Bharatpur and Deeg districts. He directed the officials to ensure timely completion of infrastructure development projects in accordance with the geographical, historical and cultural characteristics of these areas with high quality so that the common people are benefitted.
At a review meeting on the development works of Bharatpur and Deeg districts held at CM Bhajan Lal residence on Saturday, he directed the Road, Energy, Water, Education, Medical, Industry, Autonomous Government, Revenue, Tourism and Forest departments to continuously monitor the works to enhance the facilities of the common people.
CM Bhajan Lal directed the Public Works Department to develop a robust road network in Bharatpur and Deeg districts for smooth commuting. He also directed the Water Resources Department to repair the old canals, dams and dighis from time to time so that the farmers and the general public can benefit from them.
He directed the Energy Department to complete the development works in time to ensure uninterrupted power supply in Bharatpur and Deeg districts. He directed the Department of Autonomous Governance to ensure and monitor the quality of basic services such as roads, electricity, water, sanitation and sewerage in urban areas.
He directed the Medical and Health Department to provide resources to provide better medical services in Bharatpur and Deeg districts. He directed the Tourism Department to pay special attention to the beautification of cultural and historical sites and the Devasthan Department to ensure systematic maintenance of ancient temples.
Among others present in the meeting included Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources Mr. Abhay Kumar, Forest and Environment Mrs. Aparna Arora, Chief Minister Office Mr. Shikhar Agarwal, Public Works Mr. Praveen Gupta, Industries Mr. Ajitabh Sharma, Medical and Health Mrs. Gayatri Rathore, Urban Development Mr. Vaibhav Galaria and District Collector Bharatpur Dr. Amit Yadav, District Collector Deeg Mr. Utsav Kaushal and other senior officers.
