CM Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed the 12th ‘Bharat Gaurav Award’ function organized by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha at the House of Commons of the UK Parliament through video conferencing from the Chief Minister’s residence late on Thursday night. He said that the event is not just a tribute to Indian talent but also a symbol of the deep and cordial ties between India and the United Kingdom.
Rising Rajasthan is changing the definition of development
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Rajasthan with its rich cultural heritage, hospitality and glorious history is scripting a new story of development through the “Rising Rajasthan” campaign. The investment proposals worth Rs 35 lakh crore have created many opportunities for employment and prosperity in the state. In the last one and a half years, Rajasthan has made great achievements in the field of investment, innovation and inclusive development.
Rajasthan at a new height in the field of tourism, industry and education
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that significant progress is being made in the field of mining, tourism and industrial development in the state. The state has also done well in education and health services. Tourists from all over the world come to Rajasthan to see the historical splendor of palaces, forts and havelis. Tourism to religious places, wildlife sanctuaries and desert areas is also growing rapidly.
He appealed to the NRIs to come to Rajasthan, invest and become partners in the development of the state. Their cooperation will not only take Rajasthan to new heights but will also further strengthen India’s global role.

“The ‘Bharat Gaurav Award’ is not only a recognition of the country’s talent but also a symbol of our unity, capabilities and growing presence on the international stage. The winners of the various events were honoured with medals, certificates and cash prizes. Delegates from 18 countries participated in the event.
