CM Bhajan Lal : District Collectors submitted their suggestions regarding development works of the districts for the upcoming budget of 2025-26.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has directed all the District Collectors of Jaipur Division to send the report of pending cases related to the previous budget year announcements of 2024-25 in the next three days. He said that it would be the responsibility of the District Collectors to monitor the implementation of the budget announcements and resolve the problems on the spot. At the same time, he directed the officials that all necessary clearances should be issued by the end of February after conducting technical examination of the pending cases.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was conducting a detailed review of the progress of development works and budget announcements of Jaipur division through the VC at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday. In the meeting, the district collectors gave suggestions related to drinking water, electricity, roads, health, education, tourism and transport facility for the budget of 2025-26. The Chief Minister directed the Collectors to go to the spot and decide the priority of the works and evaluate these works based on the parameters.
To avoid any inconvenience to the public during summer, CM Bhajan Lal asked the Collectors to prepare contingency plans of drinking water, electricity and other facilities. He also directed to take action against illegal connections of drinking water and make proper arrangements for proper drainage of rainwater.
CM Bhajan Lal stressed on the preservation of heritage along with development in the state and said that his government’s vision is’ Heritage Bhi, Hitech Bhi ‘. Reviewing the development works of Jhunjhunu and Sikar districts, he directed to prepare an action plan for the development of tourist places and talked about developing world-class facilities to enhance the grandeur of Khatushyam Ji Temple.
Moreover, CM Bhajan Lal described the Hitec City to be developed in Jaipur as a dream project of the state government under which infrastructure like roads, water and electricity would be developed in a major way.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretaries and other officers of Water Resources, Public Works, Public Health, Industries, Revenue, Autonomous Government, Medical and Health, Urban Development Departments, Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur Division, Director General of Police and concerned District Collectors.
