CM Bhajan Lal Sharma will launch the Rajasthan Diwas celebrations with a Matri Vandana programme at Adarsh Stadium in Barmer on Tuesday. On this occasion, he will participate in the State Level Women’s Conference and interact with the beneficiaries of various districts through video conferencing.
The Barmer district administration and the police department are finalising preparations for the visit of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma. District Collector Tina Dabi said that at 3 pm, the Chief Minister will reach Adarsh Stadium and distribute scooties to girls under the Kalibai Bheel scheme of the Higher Education Department. Apart from this, DBT will be transferred to the accounts of 30 thousand beneficiaries under the Lado Incentive Scheme, while a CIF amount of Rs 100 crore will be provided to women self-help groups.
Induction cook tops will be distributed to 5,000 women by the Energy Department at the State Level Women’s Conference, and an amount of Rs. 13.16 crore will be transferred to 31,790 beneficiaries under Vivekananda Scholarship, Gargi Award Scheme, Balika Protsahan Yojana, Mukhyamantri Hamari Betiyan Yojana. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, State BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh and other party leaders were present on the occasion.
Rajasthan Government is organizing various programs related to special gifts for the poor, youth, women and farmers on the occasion of Rajasthan Day from 25th to 31st March. A series of investment festivals, good governance celebrations and cultural programmes will also be held during the event. The celebrations will begin as a women’s convention in Barmer on March 25 in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Security and administrative arrangements have been completed. The district administration and police department are fully alert regarding the visit of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma. Collector Tina Dabi, Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena and other officials inspected the venue. Mahendra Soni, Secretary, Women and Child Development Department, gave instructions to ensure proper arrangements. Security arrangements, traffic management and other administrative aspects were also discussed in detail.
