CM Bhajan Lal Sharma called on Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah in New Delhi today. During the meeting, Shri Sharma conveyed his heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the Union Home Minister for the historic success of Operation Sindoor of the Indian Armed Forces against terrorism.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma briefed the Union Home and Cooperation Minister about the progress and innovations in the cooperative sector in Rajasthan. He discussed issues related to computerisation of PACS, Mharo Khato Mharo Bank, Gopal Credit Card Scheme and Sahakar Se Samriddhi Abhiyan and extended a warm invitation to Shri Shah for the proposed Sahakar Sammelan in Rajasthan to mark the International Year of Cooperatives. At the same time, the Chief Minister thanked the Union Cooperation Minister for the successful implementation of 54 initiatives launched under Sahakar Se Samriddhi Abhiyan.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma also met the Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power, Shri Manohar Lal. During the meeting, Shri Sharma discussed in detail about drainage development, drinking water availability, metro expansion, easy transport facility and power generation and supply through various mediums in Rajasthan.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma discussed with the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister about the expansion of urban transport services and providing easy transport facilities in various districts of the state. Also, they had a detailed discussion on grant of approval under JV model for Jaipur Metro Project- Phase-II and early release of Central assistance.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma requested the Union Power Minister Shri Manohar Lal to sanction DPR of Rs. 1368 crore under RDSS project for managing day time power supply to agricultural consumers by Jodhpur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma requested the Union Power Minister to direct CTUIL, CEA, MNRE and other concerned agencies to take necessary action on priority for speedy implementation of 115 GW of schemes and development of transmission system for evacuation of 50 GW of additional renewable energy in Rajasthan.
Met Union Railway Minister and Union Coal Minister, discussed important issues –
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma met the Union Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. During this, he discussed the expansion of the railway network for the convenience of citizens and industrial development. At the same time, various topics related to strengthening digital connectivity and encouraging innovation in the field of Information and Broadcasting were also discussed. In addition, Shri Sharma met Union Minister of Coal and Mines Shri G Kishan Reddy. On this occasion, they had fruitful discussions regarding sustainable development of mineral resources, investment prospects and strengthening of mining infrastructure as well as coal supply for power plants.
