CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that conservation and restoration of heritage havelis of Shekhawati located in Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Churu districts is the top priority of the State Government. He said that these are very rare Havelis for whose protection an Act will also be brought if needed.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that promotion of tourism, art and culture and preservation of our precious heritage is the top priority of the State Government. He directed that all the heritage sites of the state should be surveyed and developed. He gave these instructions to the Principal Secretary of Tourism, Art and Culture Department, Rajesh Yadav on Wednesday regarding the conservation and restoration of all the 662 heritage havelis of Shekhawati.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has also directed the Collectors of Jhunjhunu, Churu and Sikar districts in this regard. He said that the State Government is committed to preserve these precious heritages of the State with full sensitivity. All the Collectors should preserve the heritage buildings in their district and for this they can also take help from CSR.
