CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Mewar is a land of power, devotion, sacrifice and austerity. The Mewar valley is an indelible example of self-respect and bravery. Coming to this land is a great feeling of pride. He said that Maharana Pratap is an inspiration for us, who has always taught us to walk on the path of truth, religion and national interest. Such ideals and values should be passed on to the new generation.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was addressing the statue unveiling ceremony on the occasion of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Jayanti at Bhupalsagar in Chittorgarh on Thursday. He said that this occasion of unveiling the statues of great personalities of this glorious land of Mewar, Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap, Maa Pannadhai, the embodiment of unparalleled sacrifice and the brave warrior Rana Poonja, marks this day in golden letters.
Saluting the brave Shiromani Maharana Pratap,CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Maharana Pratap was mighty and self-respecting and never accepted anyone’s submission. On hearing his name, the blood of valour and valour starts flowing in the arteries, the head becomes high with pride and self-respect.
The state government is developing the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that to take the message of Maharana Pratap to the whole world, our government is developing the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit by including various places associated with the life of Maharana Pratap like Chawand, Haldighati, Gogunda, Kumbhalgarh, Deaver and Udaipur etc. so that tourists can take the story of Maharana Pratap’s valour with them. At the same time, our government is setting up Maharana Pratap Sports University to prepare coaches and sports experts in the state.
Mewar glorified history with sacrifice, courage and patriotism.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the land of Mewar is the land of Maharana Pratap as well as Maa Pannadhai and Rana Punja, who have shown the world their devotion to duty, bravery and unique sacrifice. This day also reminds us of the heroes who made our civilisation proud with sacrifice, courage and patriotism.
After Operation Sindoor, the country is filled with new energy of patriotism.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that under the strong and able leadership of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is touching new heights of national pride. With India’s prestige being established on every global platform, self-reliant India is getting a new identity in every field. He said that Operation Sindoor is a symbol of the Prime Minister’s determination, commitment towards the safety of his citizens. The whole world saw that the military might of new India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi destroyed the terror camps in Pakistan. After Operation Sindoor, every person of the country is filled with patriotism with new energy and new spirit and the Prime Minister held the first public meeting of the brave-hearts on our soil.
State Government working for water conservation and water availability
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that our government has worked for water availability in the last one and a half years. Our Government worked towards materialising the Ram Jal Setu Link Project (Modified PKC) for Eastern Rajasthan, the Yamuna Water Agreement for Shekhawati and the Dewas Project for Southern Rajasthan. Our government is working with the goal of providing day-time electricity to farmers by 2027. Along with this, work is being done in the direction of water conservation with the help of expatriate Rajasthanis in the Karmabhoomi to Mathrubhumi campaign. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has mentioned four castes as youth, women, poor and farmers. Our government is fulfilling the dreams of the youth by providing them employment. Our government has so far given appointment to about 67 thousand youth in government jobs.
Call to make Jal Swavlamban Pakhwada a mass campaign
The Chief Minister said that Ganga Dashami coincides with World Environment Day on June 5. The state government will organise pujas, awareness, cleanliness activities at water sources like ponds, rivers etc. through Jal Swavlamban Pakhwada from June 5 to June 20. With this, we have set a target of planting 11 crore saplings this year. He called upon the people to take an active role in Jal Swavlamban Pakhwada and plantation and make it a mass campaign.
