CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the country is being uplifted by the upliftment of every section including women, poor, youth and farmers. Under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the double engine government is working for the all-round development of all sections. As a result, every class, every caste and every society of the country is progressing.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Delegates Conference and Felicitation Ceremony of All India Regar Mahasabha at Birla Auditorium on Wednesday. He saluted Sant Jivaram, Sant Atmaram and Baba Saheb Ambedkar and congratulated the talents of the society.
Will create a panorama, the youth will get to learn
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that since pre-independence, the contribution of the Regar community in the national interest has been immense. Our government has also accelerated the development work of all the societies by taking necessary decisions. During this, he announced to make a panorama of ‘Sant Atmaram Lakshya’, which plays an important role in culture, heritage and social equality in the country. He said that with this, the youth will be able to walk on the path of development of the nation by imbibing the ideas of Sant Atmaram Lakshya.
Panchteerth will be a source of inspiration for the future generation
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is realising the vision of an egalitarian and educated society as envisioned by the architect of the Constitution, Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The coming generation will be inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s invaluable contribution to the development of the nation. For this, five important places associated with his life have been developed as Panchteerth. He said that under the Panchteerth Paryatan Yojana, the state government is taking people belonging to the Scheduled Castes to visit the shrines associated with the life of Baba Saheb.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Babasaheb made significant contributions in areas like women empowerment and labour reforms. Despite this, he could not get respect for a long time after independence. After this, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has started celebrating 26th November as Constitution Day and has given true respect to them on behalf of the countrymen. Shri Sharma said that with the assumption of power in 2014, the Prime Minister has left no stone unturned to realise Babasaheb’s legacy and dreams of an independent India.
Empowerment of underprivileged sections is our priority.
The Chief Minister said that our government is also working to empower the society by taking inspiration from the ideas and ideals of Babasaheb. Financial assistance is being provided under the Social Security Pension Scheme and the PALANHAR Scheme for taking care of orphans and needy children. A provision of Rs 60 crore has been made in the ‘Dadudayal Nomadic Empowerment Scheme’ for the welfare of the denotified, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities. A major work has also been done to give 26 thousand housing leases to these communities. Shri Sharma said that Ambedkar Institute of Constitutional Studies and Research has also been started under Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur.
Schemes for welfare of poor
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that now instead of slogans of Garibi Hatao, work is being done for the welfare of the poor in the country. Shri Sharma called upon the people of the society to contribute in nation building by following the path shown by Baba Saheb.
