CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that as per the intention of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State Government is celebrating Rajasthan Diwas (March 30, 2025) in a big way, giving priority to the welfare and good governance of farmers, youth, women and poor sections. He called upon the people of the state to enthusiastically participate in this event and work with service and dedication to make Rajasthan a developed state.
The programme will begin with a women’s meet.
The Rajasthan Diwas celebrations will begin from Barmer on March 25. During the Mahila Sammelan, DBT transfer of Rs. 7.50 crore under Lado Incentive Scheme, allocation of CIF amount of Rs. 100 crore to women groups, induction cook tops to 3,000 women, distribution of scooties to 5,000 meritorious girl students under Kalibai Bheel Yojana and benefits to lakhs of girl students under other incentive schemes will be provided. At the same time, new initiatives such as nutritional reforms for severely malnourished children, Solar Didi Yojana, pot bank scheme in 1,000 Gram Panchayats will also be launched.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma gave instructions to ensure transport, drinking water and security arrangements during the review meeting of preparations for Rajasthan Day. He directed that all government buildings in the districts be decorated with lights and decorations and special aartis be organised in temples. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma also proposed to take a pledge of “developed Rajasthan” in government and private institutions on Rajasthan Day.
Farmers and FPOs Programme in Bikaner
On March 26, a Kisan Sammelan will be held in Bikaner, in which special schemes will be implemented for FPO Mela, distribution of grants of ₹137 crore to 30,000 farmers, increase in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, extension of Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana and promotion of organic farming.
Antyodaya Kalyan Utsav in Bharatpur and Vikas Utsav in Bhilwara
Antyodaya Kalyan Samaroh will be held in Bharatpur on March 27, in which 100 new vehicles will be distributed to the police department, assistive devices to Divyangjans, ₹100 crore assistance to construction workers, and assistance under various welfare schemes. On March 28, Panch Gaurav booklet release, foundation stone laying of projects worth ₹3,317 crore, launch of health coverage scheme for journalists, and other important announcements will be made at the festival of development and good governance in Bhilwara.
Youth and Employment Festival in Kota
On March 29, a youth and employment festival will be held in Kota, in which 7,000 youth will be distributed appointment letters, job fairs and placement camps will be held. On this occasion, important schemes like Youth Policy, Atal Knowledge Centre, Employment Promotion Scheme in the private sector will be announced.
Cultural events and investment festivals in Jaipur
On 30th March, an event will be organised at Albert Hall, Jaipur to showcase the folk art and cultural heritage of Rajasthan. On March 31, Rising Rajasthan Nivesh Utsav will witness ground breaking of investment projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore and release of logistics, data centre and textile policy.
Security and Administrative Preparations
Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, Director General of Police U. R. Sahu and other senior officers of various departments reviewed the preparedness through video conferencing. Necessary guidelines were issued to keep the security arrangements in full swing in all the districts and to celebrate Rajasthan Day in a grand manner.
