On Wednesday, as part of his two-day Hanumangarh-Sriganganagar tour, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma visited Shri Bishnoi Temple (Dabla) in Budha Johad of Sriganganagar and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the state.
Meanwhile, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma , while addressing the public present in the temple premises, said that the sacrifice made by Maa Amrita Devi for the protection of the environment is still saluted by all with full reverence. He said that the Bishnoi community has always been at the forefront of environmental conservation and their spirit of sacrifice and love for animals and birds is also exemplary. He said that the state government is also taking necessary steps to protect the environment.
After this, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma paid obeisance at Shaheed Nagar Gurudwara Sahib in Budha Johad and interacted with the servitors and the public present there. Earlier, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was given a grand welcome by the general public and farmers on the way from Sriganganagar to Budha Johad. During this, the Chief Minister witnessed the process of making jaggery from sugarcane. He sat on the charpoy with the farmer, drank buttermilk and ate fresh jaggery.
Shri Prahlad Rai Tak, Chairman, Shriyade Mati Kala Board, Shri Gurvir Singh Brar, MLA and Shri Arvind Siyag, Chairman, Bishnoi Mandir Committee, along with members of the temple committee, public representatives and large number of visitors were present on the occasion.
