CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday offered prayers at the Shreenathji Temple at Poonchri Ka Loutha in Deeg district on the occasion of Muria Purnima Mela and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state.
Earlier, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma met the devotees who are circumambulating on the Saptakosi Govardhan Parikrama route. On the occasion, Mr Sharma served water on the pyau at Poonchari and distributed Bhandare prasad to the devotees. The Chief Minister also reviewed the arrangements of resting place for the devotees.
It is noteworthy that CM Bhajan Lal Sharma distributes cold water and prasad to the devotees with full service spirit through his Seva Sthal at Poonchhari on Govardhan Parikrama Marg on the occasion of Muria Purnima Mela every year.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Jawahar Singh Bedham, Chairman Rajasthan Heritage Authority Shri Onkar Singh Lakhawat, MLAs Shri Bahadur Singh Koli, Dr. Shailesh Singh, Nauksham Chaudhary and other public representatives, officials and common people were present on the occasion.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, while interacting with the media in the premises of Shreenathji Temple, said that Guru has an important place in every person’s life which leads from darkness to light. He said that he has been visiting Girrajji on the occasion of Mudiya Purnima for more than 25 years. This place is the abode of Lord Krishna.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi believes that development and heritage should go hand in hand. Temples are the centres of our faith and culture. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, our double engine government is working for the development of temples and pilgrimage sites in the state.
