CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the diaspora of Rajasthan is making the state proud all over the world. The expatriate Rajasthani remains connected with his karmabhoomi as well as his motherland. He said that our migrants from Rajasthan are doing work related to various social concerns including medicine, education, drinking water all over the world. He called upon the diaspora to make their significant contribution in fulfilling the resolve of ‘Aapno Agrani Rajasthan’.
Shri Sharma was addressing a felicitation function organized by the Rajasthani Samaj in Vadodara, Gujarat on Monday. “Rajasthan is the land of power and devotion. On this land, great personalities like Maharana Pratap, Maharaja Surajmal, Pannadhai, the epitome of sacrifice and tenacity, Mirabai, the idol of devotion, and Maa Amrita Devi, the protector of the environment, were born.”

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is receiving full support from Bhamashahs and migrant brothers and sisters under the ‘Karmabhoomi Se Mathrubhumi’ campaign. Under this, about 45 thousand water conservation structures will be constructed in the state. He mentioned that this campaign will also help in increasing water availability and raising the groundwater level by saving every drop of rainwater.
Gujarat and Rajasthan are two sides of the same coin.
Shri Sharma said that prioritizing the water needs of the state, water projects including the Ramjal Setu Link Project, Yamuna Jal Samjhauta, and Dewas Project are being completed. Shri Sharma mentioned that both Gujarat and Rajasthan are two sides of the same coin. The land of Gujarat gave birth to great men like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who devoted their lives to the unity and integrity of the country.
The Chief Minister said that the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit was organized in December last year for the development of the industrial sector of Rajasthan. About Rs 37 lakh crore worth of investment proposals were received in this summit, out of which Rs 3 lakh crore worth of investment proposals have been groundbreaking. He said that following the vision of the Prime Minister, the State Government is ensuring the welfare of the poor, youth, women, and farmers.

Shri Sharma said that during the time of the previous government, the youth were betrayed due to paper leak incidents. Our government is providing employment to the youth on time along with conducting recruitment examinations with full transparency. We are working with a target of providing 400,000 government jobs to the youth in 5 years and not a single paper has been leaked in our government. He said that our government is working for the upliftment of the last man standing with the goal of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Antyodaya and we are committed to fulfilling every promise of the Sankalp Patra.
