CM Dr. Yadav : The Union Cabinet has approved Rs 69 thousand crore in PM Fasal Bima Yojana and Rs 824 crore for Fund for Innovation and Technology
CM Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for approving ₹69,515.71 crore under the PM Crop Insurance Scheme. He noted that the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Modi, granted this approval on Wednesday. Additionally, an allocation of ₹824.77 crore has been sanctioned for the Fund for Innovation and Technology. Dr. Yadav described these decisions as significant steps taken in the interest of farmers and their welfare.
CM Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Modi, determined for agricultural development and farmer welfare, has started the year 2025 with a historic initiative in the interest of the farmers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that despite the increase in the prices of DAP in the international markets, DAP will be made available to the farmers of the country at a reasonable price with additional subsidy.
The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Modi has also approved the proposal to increase the one-time special package on DAP beyond the NBS subsidy (Nutrient Based Subsidy) at the rate of ₹ 3,000 per metric tonne for the period from 1st January 2025 till further orders to ensure uninterrupted availability of DAP.
CM Dr. Yadav said that the Prime Minister is constantly working to fulfill the resolution of prosperity of our farmers and to increase their income. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the decision taken by Prime Minister Shri Modi to continue the PM Crop Insurance Scheme, a symbol of respect, self-respect and security of the farmers of the country, is welcome. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of the farmers of Madhya Pradesh.
