CM Yogi Adityanath said that Guru Gorakhnath Sehat Seva Yatra has become a source of excellent health services for the people of the districts located near the Indo-Nepal border. Through this yatra, local citizens are being made aware of health services and other schemes, as well as connecting them with the mainstream of India. Problems are being solved through dialogue.
CM Yogi was speaking at the Guru Gorakhnath Swasthya Seva Yatra 5.0 Karyakarta Samman Samaroh today. On this occasion dignitaries were felicitated.
CM Yogi informed that this Yatra is being organized by the National Medicos Organization Awadh-Goraksh Prant and Sri Guru Gorakhnath Seva Nyas since 2019. Even during the Corona period, this yatra continued to spread awareness about health. The health workers and workers associated with this yatra go through difficult paths to check the health of the people, provide them medicines and collect their data. As a result, people are moving towards a better life.
CM Yogi said that there have been many types of yatras for religious and social unity in India. Adi Shankaracharya had undertaken ‘Shankar Digvijay Yatra’ for the unity of the country. Through these yatras, the work of uniting the society by awakening the consciousness of the people in different parts of the country was done. The National Medicos Organization is promoting unity in the border areas of India and Nepal through the Guru Gorakhnath Health Service Yatra.
CM Yogi further said that from 1947 to 2017, the Scheduled Tribes and nomadic people were deprived of many facilities, but through the Guru Gorakhnath Health Service Yatra, now the real status of these tribes is getting information. The state government has decided to equip these tribes with various facilities, including houses, toilets, roads, water, pension, Ayushman card, ration card and other facilities. Anganwadi centres, schools for basic education and primary health centres have been opened in the area.
CM Yogi also informed that in 2017, 54 villages of Vantangia community were recognized as revenue villages, due to which they received various types of facilities. These communities were also given the right to vote, and now they vote in elections.
Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh said that Guru Gorakhnath Swasthya Seva Yatra certifies human service and public service. He informed that the tradition of service in India is very old, and it is a commendable work to provide service even in inaccessible areas through Guru Gorakhnath Health Service Yatra.
