Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that the year 2025 is the year of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth centenary, and his birth centenary will be completed on December 25. On this occasion, I am extremely happy to inaugurate Atal Residential School in Bareilly Division as this school will keep the memories of Atal ji alive.
CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Atal Residential School built at a cost of Rs. 73.25 crore in village Adhkata Najrana of Nawabganj tehsil of Bareilly district and inspected the school premises and directed to make the arrangements smoothly. He interacted with the students and their parents and enquired about their well-being. They distributed chocolates and school bags to the children and also took selfies with them.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Atal Residential School is the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, where the children of workers and those who were orphaned during the Corona period have been given admission through the entrance exam. Earlier, these children were deprived of education, but now they are being provided with quality education and better facilities for living and eating. This school is being run from the workers’ cess, which was not properly used by the previous governments.
Describing education as the foundation of the nation,CM Yogi Adityanath said that quality education is necessary for the all-round development of children. The government has approved the budget for opening Chief Minister Composite Schools in every district. The Atal Residential School is being developed as a model education model where training and skill development programmes for teachers and students will also be conducted.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that children in Atal Residential Schools should follow a disciplined routine, which includes waking up on time, eating food, studying, playing sports and sleeping on time. 16 Atal Residential Schools are already functioning in the state, and the 17th school has been inaugurated in Bareilly, soon a similar school will be started in Moradabad division.
Recalling the contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, CM Yogi Adityanath said that he had realised the goal of Antyodaya and provided ration at affordable rates for the poor. During his tenure, there was rapid development of roads and infrastructure, and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has been his significant contribution.
At the end of the program, CM Yogi Adityanath inspected the cow protection center located near Atal Residential School and fed fodder and jaggery to the cows. Minister of State for Environment and Forests Arun Kumar Saxena, Minister of State for Cooperation J. P. S. Rathore, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Dharampal Singh and other public representatives, administrative officials, teachers, students and parents were present on the occasion.
