CM Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting in Bareilly today to review the development works and law and order in Bareilly division. He directed the officers that all development projects should be completed on time and with high quality. Nodal officers should be appointed for this, who should conduct regular inspections and ensure that the work is completed in the stipulated time frame and in a quality manner.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that revenue disputes pending for more than a year pose a challenge to law and order and give rise to unnecessary disputes. Therefore, justice should be done to the people. He asked to give priority to such works under the Smart City Mission, which can become a model for the state. He directed to prepare a record of government land in Bareilly and hand it over to the development authority and to set up all the offices of the mandal and district in one complex. He also asked to provide arranged chambers and other facilities for the lawyers.
Reviewing the ongoing construction works in Nath Nagri, the Chief Minister stressed on their timely and quality completion. He directed to provide speedy loans to the youth under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan and ensure clean drinking water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission. He stressed on the need to repair the roads as soon as they are dug up during the work and fix the responsibility of the contractor concerned.
CM Yogi Adityanath asked for coordination with farmers at the block level to make the wheat procurement process effective. He directed to provide facilities like seating arrangement, clean drinking water and affordable canteens to the farmers in the mandis. Emphasizing on the effectiveness of Village Secretariats, he said that where there is good work, Gram Utsav Bhavans will also be built so that locals can organise events like marriages.
Regarding law and order, CM Yogi Adityanath directed to keep more than 1.5 lakh cameras installed in Bareilly zone under ‘Operation Trinetra’ active and to operate the Integrated Command and Control Centre effectively. He said that CCTV cameras play an important role in crime prevention, so special attention should be paid in this direction. At the same time, he called for effective implementation of Intelligent Traffic Management System to improve traffic management. Instructions were also given to make arrangements for verification of e-rickshaws and taxis etc. and to increase foot patrolling in crowded areas.
CM Yogi Adityanath talked about stopping incidents of illegal conversions, promoting positive use of social media and installing complaint boxes in all police stations and tehsils. The Chief Minister directed to prepare a proposal for the establishment of a super speciality hospital and send it to the government.
Emphasizing on the campaign to eradicate TB, he urged the public representatives to adopt TB patients, ensure their regular check-up and focus on the availability of Poshan Potli. In the meeting, the representatives of the people put forward their suggestions and demands on various development schemes.
On the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner apprised CM Yogi Adityanath that fencing of 25 km in Pilibhit Tiger Reserve has been completed and 12 Aspirational Development Blocks of the Division have been awarded by the Government of India and the State Government during 2022-24. In Bareilly, 18 astronomical science labs have been set up, and in Shahjahanpur, the ‘Girls Can Do’ programme is being conducted. Commendable work has been done in Bareilly and Pilibhit under the Communicable Disease Control Campaign.
The meeting was attended by Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister Dharampal Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment and Forests Arun Kumar Saxena, Minister of State for Cooperation J. P. S. Rathore, Minister of State for Basic Education Sandeep Singh and other public representatives and senior administrative officials.
