Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today released a book ‘Challenges I like’ based on the life of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel at Dr. A.P .J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow. Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the event, the Vice President said that Anandiben Patel is a symbol of Nari Shakti and her life is an inspiration for the country. The book contains many examples of upliftment and empowerment of women. CM Yogi Adityanath said that not being afraid of challenges is the hallmark of true leadership.
Praising CM Yogi Adityanath , the Vice President said that under his leadership, the economy and infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh have developed rapidly. He lauded the success of Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the rising per capita income of the state and the contribution of the growing airport, metro network and expressways.
Talking about the development of the country, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has made great achievements in many areas – like toilets in every house, electricity, water, and digital services. He said that India is now a country full of hope and possibilities.
Governor Anandiben Patel said the book reflects her life’s struggle, self-confidence and sense of respect for workers. He stressed the need for respect for workers and recognition of their contribution.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that challenges in life only pave the way for development. He said that the life of Anandiben Patel is an inspiring journey from a humble rural background to becoming a Governor. He also said that the three authors of the book have depicted the life of the Governor in depth.
At the end of the programme, the Vice President visited the book stalls of the universities and many dignitaries were present on the occasion.
