In a bid to enhance educational facilities and promote overall student development in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced plans to develop Narela as a major education hub. The initiative aims to integrate Narela into the government’s broader plan of establishing five university municipalities near industrial and logistics corridors.
Narela to Become an Education Hub

The Delhi government’s strategy underscores a student-centric approach, aiming not only to improve academic infrastructure but also to nurture creative and technical skills among students. By positioning Narela as a university municipality, the government envisions a synergy between education, industry, and technology, benefiting students and contributing to Delhi’s long-term economic and educational growth.
