Deputy CM Diya Kumari reviewed the works related to heavy rains, relief and rescue work, assistance and girdawari with the officials at the Circuit House during her stay in Ajmer on Monday.
District Collector Lok Bandhu gave information about various works. In-charge Minister and Deputy CM Diya Kumari said that immediate relief should be provided to the people affected by the heavy rains. The works of immediate repair and revival of the properties damaged due to heavy rains in the district should be done as soon as the weather improves. Use of dilapidated and unsafe structures should be avoided. All damaged roads should be repaired before Diwali. It should be monitored at the sub-divisional level. Proposals should be made to provide relief from loss in personal property as per the rules of SDRF Relief.
He said that in case of any animal loss, house damage and loss of life due to heavy rains in the district, an immediate application should be made on the portal for assistance after the survey. Safe drainage from various water sources should be ensured. Constant monitoring of the strength of the dam should be done. The Master Drainage Plan of Ajmer city was also discussed.
He said that along with girdawari of crops, assessment of crop loss should also be done. Try to complete this task in the next 10 days. This will provide timely relief to the affected people. Similarly, digital crop survey should also be done on time. Instructions were given to expedite the works being done in connection with Panch Gaurav. The government wants to give a new identity to every district through Panch Gaurav. – –
