Deputy CM Diya Kumari held a review meeting of budget announcements and flagship schemes in Ajmer on Sunday. Union Agriculture Minister Shri Bhagirath Chaudhary, MLAs Smt Anita Bhadel and Virendra Singh Kanawat apprised about the requirements of the area. District Collector Lok Bandhu and Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana gave information about the progress made in various points.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari said the Rajasthan government and the Centre were working to raise the standard of living of the people. Increase the speed of the work of various schemes. We have to act with sensitivity in matters related to the public. Basic needs like water, electricity and health should be available to every citizen. Emotions received through various mediums should be disposed of on priority. Work in coordination with local public representatives.
He said that a budget has been announced by the government for the development of Pushkar pilgrimage area. Continuously monitor the implementation of this announcement. The focus should be on getting the work done around the temple and the lake. During this time special care should be taken that the original form of the pilgrimage area remains intact. Act in accordance with the mythological significance and grandeur of the place of pilgrimage. Old photos and videos should also be included. Try from every level to stop the dirty water from going into the Pushkar Sarovar. The work of feeders of Pushkar lake should also be done soon.
He said that provision of sector roads was made in the budget announcement by the government. Work with a target to issue the necessary tender for this in 2 weeks. Mark the land for the convention hall in a week. The selected land should meet the criteria of maximum utility. This work will be done by the Ajmer Development Authority. Restoration work of various water sources of Ajmer should be done as per the prescribed guidelines.
He said that Waste to Wealth Park is an environment friendly concept of the State Government. It would be useful to build it in a place accessible to maximum number of people. The possibilities of earning revenue through this should also be kept in mind. Get the necessary directions for its manufacture from the competent level. The available doctors and vacant posts in the district were also discussed in the meeting.
He said that road construction and other construction work in various schemes of Ajmer Development Authority should be of good quality. Make a drain along the road as necessary. The proposal of the drain should be along the road. While constructing new roads, it is necessary to remove the old ones. Take action to transfer the roads under the Public Works Department of the urban area to the Ajmer Development Authority.
He said that Vedanta Group has to work in the Anganwadis of the state. Get information about the work done through the group in the district. The concerned departmental officers should work with mutual coordination to transfer the ownership of the construction site of the multipurpose stadium to the Ajmer Development Authority within a week. Budget announcement related to diabetes Through the Madhukari program, make the people of the district aware of diabetes and regularise the treatment.
Flagship schemes were also reviewed in the meeting. During the review, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari gave instructions to all eligible persons to benefit from the schemes. The number of beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana should be increased. Age cards should be made for all the elderly people. Only then will it be possible to start the project. Complete the survey work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana soon. Accelerate the work of Jal Jeevan Mission. Take action to take the poor of the villages identified for the poverty-free village scheme above the poverty line by connecting them to various schemes.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inspected the road construction work on Kacheri Road on the request of MLA Anita Bhadel. Discussions were held with the officials and local shopkeepers to prevent waterlogging on the road. Water has to be pumped out directly from the river. There is no water during rains. Road work should be of good quality.
Union Agriculture Minister Shri Bhagirath Chaudhary said that supply of drinking water in rural areas should be smooth in summer. Constantly remove illegal connections from the area. This will ensure that water reaches the tail end. House-to-house garbage collection in rural areas should be regularised. It is the responsibility of the sensor to repair the road during the guarantee period. Restrict the concerned to repair the roads of the guarantee period of the district regularly.
MLA Smt Anita Bhadel said that the list of villages identified for poverty free village should be shared with the public representatives. Chandravaradai Stadium has all the sports facilities. It should be used to groom sporting talent. A proposal in this regard has been sent to the State Government. Shri Virendra Singh Kanawat, MLA, MASUDA spoke about the need to establish new dimensions of development by taking everyone along.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC general) Anita Darshi, ADC Development Rajinder Batra, Assistant Commissioner General Lal Vishwas Bains, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Moga Gurwinder Singh Johal, District Welfare Officer Bikramjit Singh Purewal and District Education Officer (Secondary) Pardeep Sharma were present.
