Dr. Balbir Singh will distribute development grants across seven villages in Patiala Rural on July 30 under the Funds Distribution Campaign.
Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Balbir Singh has announced that the Punjab Government will continue its drive to strengthen rural infrastructure in the Patiala Rural Assembly constituency through a dedicated Funds Distribution Campaign on July 30, 2026 (Thursday).
The Funds Distribution Campaign is aimed at accelerating development works and ensuring that government support reaches every village in the constituency. Development grants will be distributed for various public infrastructure projects in Aman Vihar, Career Enclave, Jassewal, Bakhshiwala, Simbro, Kishangarh, and Allowal.
Dr. Balbir Singh said the initiative reflects the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government’s commitment to balanced and inclusive rural development. According to him, the government is focused on strengthening civic infrastructure and improving basic amenities across villages by ensuring timely financial assistance for local development projects.

The minister stated that the grants will help speed up works related to roads, sanitation, drainage, public facilities, and other essential infrastructure, ultimately improving the quality of life for residents in the Patiala Rural constituency.
He emphasized that the government’s development-oriented approach is now reaching every corner of the constituency, with a focus on delivering visible improvements at the grassroots level.
Dr. Balbir Singh also appealed to local residents and community representatives to actively participate in the Funds Distribution Campaign and contribute to the overall development of their villages. He said public participation plays a vital role in ensuring that development projects are implemented effectively and benefit the maximum number of people.
