Governor Hari Bhau Bagde on Sunday honored outstanding achievers from various fields with the ‘Rajasthan Gaurav’ Award at a program organized by the Sanskriti Sansthan.
Governor Hari Bhau : On the occasion, he remarked that it is a hallmark of Indian culture to reward those who perform exemplary work. Congratulating the awardees, the Governor said that societies which respect and recognize talent are the ones that progress rapidly. Such recognition, he added, creates an environment that motivates people at large to contribute positively. He described Indian culture as the cradle of world civilization, whose values—whether in art of living, science, or politics—continue to inspire the world. Indian philosophy, he said, emphasizes collective welfare over individual gain, reflecting the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).
Defining culture, he stated that it represents continuity with change—an ability to adapt, evolve, and embrace the new. Indian culture, he emphasized, embodies this dynamism. Calling upon the youth, the Governor urged them to become agents of social transformation and encouraged everyone to maintain balance and harmony in life while working for the greater good.
Earlier, Pandit Suresh Mishra, President of Sanskriti Sansthan, welcomed the Governor and shared details about the organization’s initiatives and the awardees. H.C. Ganeshiya and Dr. Govind Parik also expressed their views on Indian culture and values of life.
