Governor Haribhau Bagde reviewed the development schemes by interacting with the district level officers in Hanumangarh on Wednesday. He called for effective work to provide pure water to every household under Jal Jeevan Mission. At the same time, he stressed on making education compulsory for all and giving priority to its widespread dissemination in villages and dhanis. The Governor also directed for timely and effective implementation of the schemes of the Central and State Government.
Reviewing the schemes of the Education Department, he asked them to ensure that no child is deprived of school. At the same time, he directed to monitor and review every month to stop the trend of increasing intoxication in the district.
Governor Haribhau Bagde reviewed Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Swamitva Yojana, MP Local Area Development Programme, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, Mahatma Gandhi NREGA Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Rajivika, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Soil Health Card, Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jal Jeevan Mission and other departmental schemes.
Emphasizing on the effective implementation of National Education Policy-2020, he called for intellectually empowering the future generation. Apart from this, instructions were given to promote industrial development and farmer-friendly schemes. He stressed on accelerating industrial development and increasing employment opportunities in the district. He also directed to motivate farmers to set up solar power plants under PM Suryaghar and PM Kusum Yojana, give priority to water conservation and speed up the development of rural roads.
