Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini here today approved amendment in the Haryana Dholidar

These rules may be called the Haryana Dholidar, Butimar, Bhondedar Muqararidar (Vesting of Proprietary Rights) Amendment Rules, 2024. They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.

In the Haryana Dholidar, Butimar, Bhondedar and Muqararidar (Vestir Proprietary Rights) Rules, 2011, in rule 3, sub-rules(1) and (2), the following rules shall be substituted, namely:- Dholidar, Butimar, Bhondedars or Muqararidars or their successor-in-interest whose period of twenty years has been completed on the date of commencement of the Act, can apply in Annexure-I to the Collector concerned at any time after the date of commencement of these rules for vesting proprietary rights.

Dholidars, Butimars, Bhondedars and Muqararidars or their successor-in-interest whose period of twenty years has not been completed on the date of commencement of Act, can apply to the Collector concerned at any time after the date of completion of twenty years for vesting of proprietary rights.
