CM of Haryana hands out plot allotment letters and emphasizes the BJP government’s goal of empowering the underprivileged
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Wednesday, during the distribution of land allocation certificates to recipients of the state housing plan, that the government of Haryana, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, aims to empower and simplify the lives of the impoverished.
According to Saini, the Haryana government introduced the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana to fulfill the housing dreams of underprivileged families in the state, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s objective to provide shelter for every destitute individual. This was expressed during an event in Rohtak.
An official statement stated that on Wednesday, 15,250 recipients of the state program received certificates for land plot assignment.
The chief minister gave the beneficiaries their land allotment letters right away during the function, which took place at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, according to the press release.
It further stated that simultaneous distribution of allotment letters was conducted at four additional locations: Yamunanagar, Palwal, Sirsa, and Mahendragarh.
Speaking to the assembly in Rohtak, Saini stated that the BJP government wants to make the lives of the underprivileged easier and give them more authority.
He brought up the fact that the previous Congress government had promised the impoverished 100 square yard plots, but had never actually given them any land or documentation, leaving them to thereafter continue hopping from one pillar to another.
However, the chief minister claimed that the BJP government chose to give them plots after realizing their situation.
He claimed that as part of a recent scheme, possession certificates for plots measuring 100 square yards were provided to participants.
The beneficiaries of the housing plan who received letters allocating them a plot were congratulated on this occasion by Subhash Sudha, Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies.
According to Sudha, families with yearly incomes under Rs 1.80 lakh enrolled for this programme, and today the chief minister gave rewards to those who qualified.
Under the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana, Saini added, the state government had also recently sent cards to families making less than Rs 1 lakh per year.
Under this initiative, 1,000 kilometers of free bus travel in state transportation will be provided to roughly 23 lakh families, comprising nearly 84 lakh people, he said.
