The Haryana government has approved proposals worth more than Rs 340 crore related to various departmental purchases and development works during a meeting of the High Powered Purchase Committee and High Powered Works Purchase Committee.
The meeting was chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, where officials reviewed multiple proposals submitted by different departments. After detailed discussions and evaluation, approvals were granted for procurement and infrastructure-related projects aimed at strengthening public services and accelerating development activities across the state.
During the meeting, the government also focused on ensuring transparency and cost efficiency in the procurement process. Following detailed negotiations with various bidders, revised rates were finalized, resulting in estimated savings of around Rs 15.11 crore for the state exchequer.
