Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal highlights 68,228 government jobs and investment proposals worth over ₹1.83 lakh crore in Punjab under the Mann government.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal highlighted the Punjab government’s employment and investment initiatives while presenting a motion of thanks in the Vidhan Sabha.
Dhaliwal said the Bhagwant Mann-led government has focused on taking action instead of making excuses and has worked to improve transparency in government recruitment and administration.
68,228 Government Jobs Given So Far
According to Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, the Mann government has provided 68,228 government jobs so far. He said the government has worked to make recruitment more transparent and reduce the influence of bribery and favoritism.
Dhaliwal claimed that the change in the recruitment system has helped restore the confidence of thousands of young people who aspire to secure government employment.
He said the government’s approach is focused on providing opportunities based on merit rather than money or personal connections.

Focus on Ending Bribery and Favoritism
During his remarks in the Vidhan Sabha, Dhaliwal said the government has taken steps to move away from what he described as a culture of bribes and favoritism.
He maintained that young people should not have to depend on recommendations or pay money to get government jobs. According to him, transparent recruitment has helped strengthen public trust in the system.
Punjab Receives Investment Proposals Worth Over ₹1.83 Lakh Crore
Dhaliwal also highlighted investment in Punjab as another major achievement of the government. He claimed that the state has secured investment proposals worth more than ₹1.83 lakh crore in around four and a half years.
According to the AAP leader, the growing interest from investors can support industrial development and create additional employment opportunities for people in Punjab.
Jobs and Investment Highlighted as Key Achievements
Dhaliwal presented employment generation and investment as important indicators of the state government’s performance. He said the Mann government has focused on delivering results rather than relying on excuses.
The AAP spokesperson also stressed that creating employment opportunities for young people and attracting investment can contribute to Punjab’s economic growth.
