Lucknow: For the next 24 hours, Lucknow’s weather is expected to be mostly cloudy with a few periods of rain.
On Wednesday, the monsoon in the state did not advance any farther. However, the weatherman stated that most of East Uttar Pradesh and a few more areas of West Uttar Pradesh continue to have favorable circumstances for its advancement in the upcoming days.
On Wednesday, the state capital’s humidity level was 79%, and Lucknow’s greatest and lowest recorded temperatures were 36.4 and 30 degrees Celsius, respectively.
For the next 24 hours, Lucknow’s weather is expected to be mostly cloudy with one or two periods of rain or thundershowers. The expected maximum and lowest temperatures are approximately 36°C and 28°C, respectively.
According to the state prediction, rain and/or thunderstorms are quite expected in the majority of the state. IMD issued a warning about thunderstorms that were likely to occur in isolated locations across the state and included lightning and strong gusts (40–50 mph). There may be isolated areas of heavy rain throughout the state.
On Wednesday, the highest amount of rainfall recorded was 72.2 mm in Bareilly, 33.2 mm in Kanpur City, 26.2 mm in Agra, and 20 mm in Shahjahanpur.
In the past 24 hours, there have been a few locations in eastern Uttar Pradesh that have had moderate to heavy rain, a few locations in western Uttar Pradesh that have experienced moderate to heavy rain. The districts of Ayodhya (Ayodhya district) received 18 cm of the main rainfall (≥1 cm), while Gorakhpur also received some. On Wednesday, rain provided much-needed relief to residents of Varanasi and the surrounding districts. Tuesday night at around midnight and Wednesday morning saw intermittent rain.
