MP NEWS : Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘CPPP Investment Promotion Wing’ at the office of the Cooperative Commissioner in Vindhyachal Bhawan. A dedicated space for dialogue and consultation has also been established within the wing for investors, including a contact and reception room, where they can access information through a single-window system. On the occasion, Minister Shri Sarang highlighted the crucial role of cooperatives in strengthening the economy. He said that Madhya Pradesh’s CPPP model has received nationwide appreciation and will usher in a new revolution in the cooperative sector. The Minister added that the CPPP Wing will simplify and streamline processes for cooperative societies, farmers, and investors. It will serve as an integrated platform for approvals, processes, and investment-related guidance. The process of signing MoUs between cooperative banks, societies, farmers, and private entrepreneurs will now become easier and more transparent.
Cooperatives to play a significant role in Vikasit Bharat 2047
Minister Shri Sarang said that the cooperative sector has a vital role in fulfilling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. The concept of ‘Prosperity through Cooperation’ is being effectively implemented in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He further said that Madhya Pradesh’s CPPP model has emerged as an exemplary initiative at the national level.
Madhya Pradesh’s CPPP Model to herald a new revolution in the Cooperative Sector
Minister Shri Sarang said that recognizing the importance of cooperative institutions, the concept of ‘Cooperative Public Private Partnership (CPPP)’ was introduced during the Global Investors Summit. Under this initiative, 19 MoUs worth approximately Rs 2,305 crore were signed between cooperative institutions and leading companies like Reliance, Baidyanath, and Majestic Basmati Rice. He emphasized that the CPPP model benefits farmers, Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), and investors alike. This initiative will enable farmers to secure better prices for their produce while also diversifying and expanding the economic activities of PACS. Additionally, private investors will have access to quality raw materials at the local level.
Central government will adopt CPPP model
Minister Shri Sarang said that Madhya Pradesh’s CPPP model has also been appreciated by the central government, and it holds the potential to be adopted at the national level in the future. This model is poised to bring about a new revolution in the cooperative sector. He further stated that the CPPP model will enhance the income of cooperative institutions. Additionally, it will facilitate the supply of quality raw materials available in rural areas to private enterprises through cooperative institutions, thereby generating employment opportunities at the local level.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal, Cooperative Commissioner and Registrar Shri Manoj Pushp, Managing Director of Marketing Federation Shri Alok Kumar Singh, and Deputy Secretary Shri Manoj Sinha were present, along with representatives from Reliance, Majestic Basmati Rice, Mushroom World, Pratibha Syntex, and other senior officials. The Wing’s Nodal Officer, Shri Ambrish Vaidya, expressed his gratitude to all attendees.
