How the 8th CPC will decide reforms
The 8th Central Pay Commission follows a structured consultation process where feedback from stakeholders is collected and analysed. This includes discussions on salary revisions, pension formulas, allowances, and other benefits.
Officials have stated that the feedback received during these sessions will play a crucial role in shaping future compensation reforms for government employees.
Extended deadline for submissions
In a recent update, the commission extended the deadline for submission of suggestions. Stakeholders can now submit their memoranda until 31 May 2026, instead of the earlier deadline of 30 April.
