CM of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini challenges Bhupinder Hooda, saying MLAs should parade to demonstrate majority
Says Congress is incapable of keeping its flock together
Claiming that the BJP administration has demonstrated its majority in the House, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today challenged Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda to parade the MLAs in his support before the Governor if he had the necessary numbers in the Haryana Assembly.
Speaking at a news conference following the official opening of a 10,000-foot runway at the Hisar airport, Saini claimed that because Congress MLA Kiran Choudhry had joined the BJP, Hooda was unable to maintain his flock. He said, “Despite the fact that Kiran Choudhry served the party for 40 years, the Congress has failed to give her due honor.” Taking a jab, he stated that Hooda was actually in the minority.
The CM claimed that since the Congress had been disseminating misinformation and fomenting misunderstanding, it had nothing important to say. Despite not having enough MLAs, Congress leaders occasionally approached the Governor and occasionally caused a sense of unease, according to Saini.
He said that if Narendra Modi were to win the Prime Ministership a third time, he would repeal the Constitution, in an attempt to expose the Opposition for deceiving the electorate during the previous elections. He claimed that whereas the Congress had disregarded the Constitution, the nation had been run according to it under Modi’s leadership.
Speaking about Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Saini announced that Hisar would soon start offering flights to a number of states. He added that there would be connections from the airport to foreign locations.
Additionally, Saini dedicated a number of development initiatives, including the around Rs 544 crore airport expansion, by laying the groundwork.
An agreement was reached to manage the airport, and soon flights from Hisar would go to a number of places, such as Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ayodhya, Jammu, and Ahmedabad. He continued by saying that not only will this help the local populace, but also those in Punjab, Rajasthan, and other states.
The airport’s inaugural flight, according to Civil Aviation Minister Dr Kamal Gupta, would be dedicated to Lord Rama and will travel to Ayodhya. The airport, which is spanning 7,200 acres, will be bigger than the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, which is spanning 5,000 acres.
