The Officer Trainees of the 2023 batch of the Indian Telecom Service called on Governor Haribhau Bagade at Raj Bhavan today. The officer trainees are on a three-day visit to Jaipur under the Smart City Mission.
Interacting with the Officer Trainees of the Telecom Service, Governor Haribhau exhorted them to contribute in strengthening the Indian Telecom Service in keeping with the spirit of “Nation First.” He said that India is moving fast in the field of telecommunication services. Under the resolve of ‘Developed India’, the officers should work with determination to make Indian telecom services more accessible, accessible and effective and to make it a global leader.
Governor Haribhau stressed upon the trainee officers of the Indian Telecommunication Service to work with a well-planned approach towards cyber security, building digital infrastructure under communication services and providing uninterrupted communication services to the consumers with full commitment to the nation. He also expressed happiness over India getting global recognition at UNESCO level under telecom services and asked everyone to work together for India’s technological superiority.
Secretary to Governor Dr. Prithvi said that the officers should work with commitment to improve the telecommunication services as well as its reliability. He congratulated everyone at the Raj Bhavan. Earlier, Shri Anand Katoch, Deputy Director General, Indian Telecom Service gave an overview of the training of Trainee Officers. Director Dwarka Karol and Training Officers Shwetabh Kumar and Bhupendra Dhiman expressed their gratitude.
