In the course of its continuing fight against corruption in the state, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) detained Patwari Akshdeep Singh on Wednesday in the district of Pathankot’s revenue halka Doulatpur for allegedly requesting and taking a bribe of Rs 4,000.
An official state VB spokesperson revealed this information here today, stating that the aforementioned Patwari was taken into custody in response to a complaint made by Jagjeet Singh, a resident of the Pathankot district’s hamlet Dhakki.
