Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed delight after meeting Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, who also serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health and a global advocate for financial inclusion.

Focus on financial inclusion and digital growth

During the meeting, discussions centered around India’s rapidly expanding Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and its role in transforming access to financial services.

The Prime Minister highlighted how India’s digital ecosystem has made banking and financial services more affordable, accessible, and inclusive for citizens across urban and rural areas.

PM Modi said India’s DPI-led revolution is significantly improving the “Ease of Living” and empowering millions of people at scale.
