On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that “Veer Bal Diwas” represents going above and beyond to safeguard “Bharatiyata.” Addressing the gathering at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, the Prime Minister stated that December 26 was observed as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ for the first time in the nation.
“Veer Bal Diwas is the symbol of going to any extent for the protection of Bharatiyata,” the Prime Minister stated.
“Programs celebrating ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ were organized this year in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, and Greece.The world has begun to view us differently now that we are proud of our past.India of today has faith in its own citizens, their abilities, and their sources of inspiration.”
On Veer Bal Diwas, people remember the two sons of Sikhism’s tenth guru, Guru Gobind Sing, who died as martyrs.
Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Jorawar Singh, and Fateh Singh were the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh. On this day in the 17th century, Guru Gobind Singh’s followers were ambushed close to the Sirsa River, leading to the martyrdom of Jorawar and Fateh Singh.
Across the globe, Sikhs are celebrating Veer Bal Diwas and expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Modi.
“He (PM Modi) has greatly benefited the Sikh community.” He took GST out of the langar. “I express my gratitude to him,” stated American businessman Darshan Singh Dhaliwal.
