CM Bhajan Lal said that the state government is continuously working for the upliftment of youth, farmers, women and the needy while giving priority to the service of the people of the state. CM Bhajan Lal was addressing the gathering at the unveiling ceremony of the statue of Late Shri Bhanwararam Kadwa at Kuchaman City on Friday. Paying tributes to former Sarpanch and social worker late Shri Bhanwararam Kadwa, he said that the land of Didwana-Kuchaman has been the karmabhoomi of saints and social workers. Late Shri Bhanwar Ram ji’s entire life was dedicated to public service and social work, and Shri Narayan Nara Seva Sansthan established with his efforts is still playing an important role in social service.
The welfare of farmers is the priority of the government.
CM Bhajan Lal said that keeping in mind the development of the state and the welfare of the farmers, the government gave priority to water and electricity supply in the first year itself. In order to ensure adequate availability of water resources in the State, Ram Jal Setu Link Project (Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal-ERCP), Yamuna Jal Samjhauta for Shekhawati region, Dewas Project for Southern Rajasthan have been taken up. Simultaneously, Indira Gandhi Canal Project and Mahi Project are also being strengthened. He expressed confidence that in the coming times, Rajasthan will become a leading state in the field of water management.
The government will provide electricity to farmers by 2027.
CM Bhajan Lal announced that the state government aims to provide day-time electricity to farmers by the year 2027. He said that the government is committed to provide affordable and accessible electricity to the farmers while understanding their needs. Apart from this, schemes like increasing the amount of Samman Nidhi to Rs 8,000 for farmers, increasing the minimum support price of wheat and Mukhyamantri Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana and Mobile Veterinary Unit for cattle rearers have been launched.
Drinking water connections to 10 lakh households in a year
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the state government is committed to provide clean drinking water to every household. In this direction, drinking water connections have been provided to 10 lakh families under dedicated efforts in the last one year. Targeting the previous government, he said that the previous government did not take this ambitious scheme forward, while on the request of our government, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the extension of Jal Jeevan Mission.
Govt jobs for 60K youth, exam calendar for 81K posts released.
He said that new employment opportunities are being created for the youth of the state. The government has set a target of providing 4 lakh government jobs in five years. So far, more than 60 thousand government appointments have been made and by July this number will reach 1 lakh. In addition, the examination calendar of 81 thousand posts has been released for the examinations to be held in the year 2025.
To promote employment in the private sector, the state government is encouraging investment and industrialization. In this sequence, Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit was organized, through which investment agreements (MoUs) worth Rs 35 lakh crore were signed in the state.
1,000 new Anganwadi centres set up in the state
CM Bhajan Lal said that the Lado Incentive Scheme has been launched with an aim to ensure a bright future for daughters. Along with this, 1,000 new Anganwadi centres have been opened in the state. Keeping in mind the nutrition of children, nutritious milk is being provided at Anganwadi centres under the Amrit Aahar scheme. The Chief Minister called upon the people to play their role in taking the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government to the needy with the resolve of Antyodaya.
Development works worth Rs 100 crore in Didwana-Kuchaman
CM Bhajan Lal said that the announcements made in the budget regarding the development of Didwana-Kuchaman are being implemented by the government at the ground level. Around Rs 100 crore will be spent on this project. So far 78% of the budget announcements have been approved, and 100% of the plots have been allocated in all the works related to land allocation.
