RAJASTHAN Deputy CM Diya: Pushkar Fair 2024, 5100 women made a record by donating 51 thousand lamps at 52 ghats

RAJASTHAN Deputy CM Diya : On the occasion of Kartik Purnima in Shri Pushkar Mela 2024, a record was created by performing Maha Aarti and donating lamps at all the 52 ghats of the lake.Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat and Masuda MLA Virendra Singh Kanawat performed Maha Aarti by offering prayers at Jaipur Ghat.

In the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, 5100 women made a record by donating 51 thousand lamps simultaneously at all the 52 ghats of the lake, wearing uniform traditional chundri costumes.This was announced by Dr. Vinod Sharma of India Book of Records. The certificate of this record was handed over on the spot. Rajivika Self Help Group, Asha Sahyogini of rural areas of Pisangan, Pushkar and Ajmer,5100 women including Anganwadi workers and helpers were present at the ghats. The main event took place at Jaipur Ghat।Here, along with Vedic chanting, Shri Pawan Kumar Rajrishi, Shri Ravindra Gaur, Pandit Kailash Nath Dadhich, Chandrashekhar Gaur, Chittaranjan Rajoria etc. performed the puja.Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the state. Drum playing and fireworks also took place in the programme.
