RAJASTHAN NEWS : Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant chaired a meeting on Thursday to assess the progress of MoUs signed during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit-2024. Commending the efforts of key government departments for advancing MoUs worth INR 1.66 lakh crore to the implementation stage within just two months, Shri Pant instructed officials to maintain regular communication with investors. He also praised the timely launch of an online investor interface, which provides real-time updates on MoU implementation.
Congratulating the Principal Secretary of Industries & Commerce for leading the investor interface initiative, Shri Pant highlighted its role in improving ease of doing business and enhancing the state’s business competitiveness. He recognized the contribution of Department Secretaries in driving MoU implementation and directed them to establish direct communication with investors to ensure seamless execution. He further emphasized the need for sustained efforts to maintain Rajasthan’s position as a leading investment destination in India.
Shri Sudhansh Pant stated that, under the proactive and visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, all key departments responsible for MoU implementation are working in a mission-driven approach to accelerate the execution of investment proposals. He credited the departments for initiating implementation on MoUs worth INR 1.66 lakh crore in a short span and stressed the importance of continuing this momentum. He urged officials to stay engaged with investors, understand their needs, and create a supportive ecosystem for successful implementation.
Notably, during the investment summit held from December 9-11, 2024, the government signed investment proposals worth INR 35 lakh crore. Of this, MoUs worth INR 1.66 lakh crore—approximately 5% of the total—have already moved into the implementation phase within two months.
The meeting was attended by senior government officials, including Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Shri Alok, Principal Secretary (Industries & Commerce) Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (LSG) Shri Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary (UDH) Shri Vaibhav Galriya, RIICO MD Ms. Shivangi Swarnkar, Additional Commissioner (BIP) Shri Sourabh Swami, and other top officials of the Rajasthan government.
