Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has declared the result of Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination-2024 on Thursday. More details are available on the Commission’s official website.
A total of 21,539 candidates have been selected for the main examination.
The Secretary of the Commission informed that the examination was held on February 2, 2025. As a result of the examination, 21,539 candidates have been provisionally declared successful for the main examination. However, the result of two candidates has been kept in a sealed cover due to pending petitions in the court. If a candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria, the Commission reserves the right to cancel his / her candidature.
The main examination is scheduled to be held on June 17-18.
Chief Controller of Examinations Ashutosh Gupta said that the main examination under this recruitment is proposed to be held from 17 to 18 June 2025.
1680 candidates have been disqualified from the examination.
As many as 1,680 candidates have been declared ineligible for the exam due to non-adherence to the Commission’s guidelines regarding marking of answers of questions in OMR answer sheets. As per the instructions given by the Commission, the fifth option “Unanswered Question” was given for each question. If a candidate did not choose any option in more than 10% of the questions (more than 15), he / she was disqualified from the examination.
A total of 1,096 posts will be recruited under the recruitment.
On September 2, 2024, the Commission had released a recruitment advertisement for 733 posts. Subsequently, 363 additional posts were received from the Department of Personnel, taking the total number of posts to 1,096. Out of these, 428 posts are for State Services and 668 posts are for Subordinate Services. Corrigendum to the new classification of posts was also issued by the Commission on 17.02.2025.
