RAJASTHAN NEWS: A meeting was held at Paryatan Bhawan on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Shri Ravi Jain, Secretary, Department of Tourism to discuss the successful organization of the 25th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA 25) Festival and Awards Ceremony to be held on 8th and 9th March 2025 at JECC, Jaipur. During this, necessary guidelines were given regarding the role, responsibilities and preparedness of various departments.
Shri Ravi Jain said that organizing IIFA 25 will give global recognition to Rajasthan’s tourism. This event is being organized in collaboration with Rajasthan Tourism Department, which is a golden opportunity to present the rich culture, art and heritage of the state in a grand manner at the international level.
He also mentioned that Rajasthan has successfully hosted major events like G20 and Rising Rajasthan in the past as well. On the same lines, this event is being seen as a major opportunity for tourism branding of Rajasthan. For this, all preparations are being made in coordination with the administration, police, JDA, Municipal Corporation, RIICO, JECC and other concerned departments.
Shri Jain said that on the occasion of IIFA 25, Jaipur city will be decorated in a grand manner. Beautifully decorated and clean facilities will be provided. Better arrangements for traffic and parking will be ensured during the event. Also, keeping in mind the arrival of about 15,000 guests, instructions have been given to the concerned departments regarding crowd management, security and other arrangements.
