RAJASTHAN NEWS : To honour the valour, sacrifice and valour of the Indian Army, a grand Tiranga Yatra was organised from Gandiv Stadium to Chitrakoot Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday. The historic visit was led by Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of Sainik Welfare, Rajasthan.
This Tiranga Yatra was dedicated to the brave soldiers engaged in the security of the country and all the armed forces associated with Operation Sindoor. A large number of ex-servicemen, veterans, their families and youth participated in it. During the march, slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Veer Jawan Amar Rahein’ resonated with the people holding the national flag.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said, “We are proud that the soldiers of our country are defending the country by remaining steadfast on the borders. He thanked all the ex-servicemen, their families and young women who participated in the yatra. “Every citizen of the country is a soldier. Which contributes to the strengthening of the nation. Col Rathore also thanked the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi for his able leadership and giving freedom to the soldiers of the country to end terrorism. He also saluted the valour of the armed forces.
On this occasion, MP Shri Madan Rathore also participated in the Yatra and encouraged everyone. He said that the Tiranga Yatra is a symbol of paying tribute to the indomitable courage and sacrifice of the Indian Army.
The aim of the event was to inculcate the spirit of patriotism among the youth, remember the sacrifices of the martyrs and strengthen the spirit of dedication towards the country by uniting the society. The yatra concluded with the national anthem at Chitrakoot Stadium.
